Ronald Mutchnik Workshops, March and April 2010

On March 8, 2010, MD/DC Chapter member Ronald Mutchnik presented Part One of a workshop on  “Fifteen Principles of Violin Playing” at the monthly Studio Teachers Meeting. On April 12, 2010, Ronald presented Part Two at a Studio Teachers Meeting

The result of many years of successful teaching and playing, the presentations were helpful and reinforced people’s understanding of how to move the various parts of their bodies to play the violin/viola with ease and without pain or injury. At the Part Two workshop, people got to play repertoire from beginning to advanced, and experienced these principles in action.
