ASTA National Conference in Santa Clara, California, February 2010

The ASTA National Conference was held in Santa Clara, California, from February 17–22, 2010. MD/DC Chapter officers Dorée Huneven, Cathy Stewart, and Jaque Lyman attended. Our Chapter was presented with two awards: Most Improved Chapter and Best Newsletter. Violinist Brian Kim, a student of MD/DC member Matt Horwitz-Lee, performed in the National High School Honors Orchestra in a performance of Mahler’s First Symphony.
